Please note there are multiple appointment types below. You must select the appointment type you need (adoption, vaccine clinic, or foster) before selecting a time to come in. (Traducción al español a continuación)
For adoptions- please note:
- We suggest completing an application online prior to arriving at the center. If you have not filled one out online we will ask that you fill one out before meeting an animal.
- Please indicate the specific animal you are interested in meeting during your appointment.
- Available pets can be seen on our website under the Adoption Tab/Available Pets.
- MAC staff will review the adoption application with you and then introduce you to the animal you have requested to meet.
Vaccine clinic:
- Due to the overwhelming response at our Wednesday clinic, we have to adhere to our mission and support those customers who are the priority for this service. We are currently offering our clinic services to Hamilton County residents only.
- This program brings basic veterinary services to pet owners who otherwise may not be able to afford it or who are unable to obtain the service otherwise. This clinic is not intended to substitute for a full veterinary exam at which you can discuss all or your pet's health needs and concerns.
- Criteria for vaccine clinic: Currently on some form of community assistance, food stamps, disability, low income household, unemployed, or recently unemployed due to COVID-19.
Foster:
These appointments should only be made by current foster parents or for those who have approval from the foster team.
- Routine Vet Treatment appointments should be made within a week of the date they are due. If you are unable to schedule an appointment within that time frame, please notify the foster team.
- If you are coming in for a health check, please give as much information as possible so that we can medically treat your foster animal properly.
- Foster Surgery should ONLY be made after been given approval by the foster team
- If you are adopting a previously non-altered foster animal, please make sure the surgery is scheduled for a time before your adoption appointment.
